Because I only had a 15 day loan on the second book - I had to read it quickly! At the end of the last book, the author introduced Samantha and Miranda (at the very end) and book two ended with the introduction of Charlotte.
What I have found interesting are the "voices" of the characters. The character discussion "sound" just like the show/movie. The character of NYC can be interesting if a reader has never visited that city and how everyone has their own opinion about the city.
This book also ended with Carrie not going off to Brown but to an interview in NYC for a magazine position.
The next book has not been released. I assume that readers will learn more about Charlotte's background as well as the history behind the Carrie column.
Based on how the author has been telling this story, there really should be at least one more book in this series.
The second book is much better than the first but you have to read the first to find out the history of Carrie and Samantha.
So today I am returning these two books and will have to choose something else to read for the next week.
