Friendship Bread is a more complex book, as far as characters. The author tends to switch around between characters so there are times, that I need to re-read parts.
The connections with the characters and what they do with the friendship bread can be funny or touching. The author does a great job creating characters that readers can pick and identify with themselves or someone they know.
This book may be one of those books you read more than once and pass along to a friend. Time passes quickly and this book has not been "an assignment" to read.
